The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has criticised the government’s “Year of Roads” initiative, describing it as a failure.
He alleged that most roads across Ghana remain in poor condition.
He urged Ghanaians to vote for the NDC, promising a comprehensive plan to improve road infrastructure nationwide.
Mahama made these remarks while campaigning in the Western North Region.
“I’ve travelled across the country, and the roads are in a dreadful state. Yet, every year, we hear about the so-called ‘Year of Roads.'”
“Even the few quality roads we constructed before leaving office have developed potholes over the past eight years. How much would it cost to fix them?” he questioned
