The Director of Elections for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr Edward Kofi Omane Boamah has begun a five-day campaign tour of the Eastern Region.
The campaign which is to intensify and solidify the base of the party in the region will see him tour as many as 25 constituencies in the Eastern Region.
He commenced day one of the campaign tour in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Constituency where he interacted with local people of the area.
In the Ayensuano Constituency where he paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Otoase, Dr Boamah assured the traditional leadership of the commitment of the John Dramani Mahama, the party’s flagbearer to reset the country onto a developmental path.
During an engagement with Otoaseman at the durbar grounds he assured the youth of the constituency to remain resolute and vote for Mahama and the NDC to bring them the needed development that has elapsed the community over the years.
Dr Boamah who is in the company of the Eastern Regional Chairman of the party Dr. Mark Oliver Kevor will visit several constituencies including the Afram Plains North and South.
