Minister of Education Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has called on Ghanaians to maintain faith in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government and its vision for the nation’s future.

Speaking in Accra on Sunday, November 10, during an engagement where he represented Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in an interaction with parents and students on education issues, Dr. Adutwum urged, “Don’t give up on us. Have hope in us and understand we can change the course of history for ourselves.”

Dr. Adutwum’s remarks come as Ghana approaches the pivotal 2024 elections, emphasizing that the continuity of the current administration is key to sustaining progress, especially in education.

He pointed to transformative policies under President Nana Akufo-Addo’s leadership, notably the Free Senior High School initiative, which has expanded access to education for numerous Ghanaian students.

The Minister expressed confidence that with the support of the electorate, the government can further enhance educational outcomes and drive economic growth. “We have laid a strong foundation, and together, we can build a brighter future for our children and our nation,” he stated.
