Frederick Opare-Ansah, manager of the Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia campaign team, has expressed strong confidence in Dr Bawumia’s capabilities, asserting that he would outperform former President John Mahama if elected.
Speaking in an interview on Eyewitness News on Citi FM on Friday, Opare-Ansah emphasised the significant achievements Dr Bawumia has made during his tenure as Vice President.
“If you compare Dr. Bawumia with the alternative, which is John Mahama, it is clear that during his time as Vice President, he has demonstrated that if given the opportunity, he will be able to do far better than John Mahama did as president,” Opare-Ansah stated.
He highlighted Bawumia’s ability to champion various initiatives, even within the limited capacity of his role, thanks to the support of the current president.
Opare-Ansah also defended the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government’s economic performance, stating that it has not failed in managing the economy despite significant challenges.
