Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has reiterated that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is Ghana’s best hope for development and deserves the opportunity to lead the country in the upcoming December elections.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh emphasized that Dr. Bawumia and the NPP are committed to implementing policies and programs designed to alleviate the challenges facing Ghanaians.
Speaking during a meeting with the Overlord of the Mamprugu Traditional Area in the North East Region on November 7, Dr. Opoku Prempeh appealed to the people of the region to rally behind their own candidate, Dr. Bawumia.
He further stated that the NPP is the only political party capable of driving Ghana’s development forward.
“It is time that the president of Ghana must come from the Mamprugu land. The best person in the country now to lead us forward is Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
“Every time God brings his own to lead the people. This is the time of Dr Bawumia. He is the only one prepared to lead Ghana into the future.”
