Nurein Shaibu Migyimah, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Assin Central, has expressed strong confidence that the NDC will win the constituency in the upcoming elections, marking a potential shift in a seat historically dominated by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The Assin Central Constituency has traditionally been a stronghold for the NPP, with Kennedy Agyapong serving as the Member of Parliament.
However, Migyimah believes that momentum is building for change, reflecting a growing desire among voters for new representation and policies.
“With the preparation we have on the grounds everything shows that this time NDC is winning Assin Central…we are going to win the seat for the first time,” he stated.
According to him, the youth and residents of Assin Central are ready to rally behind him for meaningful progress.
“It’s not about data, it’s more about hard work and dedication and how our people are poised to vote for change. As you know, for the past 24 years, the NPP held power and they ruled Assin Central.
“They have done their best, but this time around, we need development. The youth and people have the momentum and they believe in me and they know that if they vote for me come December 7, and we win this seat, I am going to make sure I transform this constituency,” he stated.
