The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) has reaffirmed its dedication to providing a nearly flawless 2024 Voter Register for the upcoming December elections.
This commitment underscores the Commission’s pursuit of electoral excellence, ensuring the integrity and credibility of the voting process.
Speaking during a live telecast of the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting in Accra, on Tuesday, October 15, the Chairperson of EC, Jean Mensa, emphasised the importance of transparency and fairness in the electoral process.
“We are confident with this approach, and we believe that we will have a near-perfect final voters register ahead of the 2024 December elections,” she stated.
The Electoral Commissioner reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to welcoming feedback from stakeholders in the lead-up to the general elections.
She also said the commission will release the revised 2024 Provisional Voter Register to political parties.
