The Member of Parliament for Tema East Constituency, Isaac Ashai Odamtten, has strongly criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for neglecting the needs of constituents in the Tema Metropolitan area over the years.
In a discussion with Umaru Sanda Amadu on Channel One TV’s Face to Face, Odamtten condemned the NPP for failing to address key issues and for not initiating significant developmental projects in the region.
He expressed concern that the area has been left behind due to the government’s shortcomings.
Odamtten asserted that voters in the Tema enclave have become increasingly aware of what he described as the NPP’s deceptive practices.
He believes the National Democratic Congress (NDC) offers a more viable alternative for the electorate and urged his constituents to vote decisively for the NDC in the 2024 general elections.
Despite the fact that the Tema East seat has traditionally been an NPP stronghold, Odamtten remains optimistic about his chances of retaining the seat.
“Tema is waking up to the reality of our developments, that look, we have celebrated this mediocrity all these years and what we thought was best for us, is a pale shadow of what we can have.
“I tell the people of Tema that the politicians who do not mean well in Tema have drawn us back,” pointed out.
