Mahama leads Bawumia again in December polls with 53% – Global InfoAnalytics

A recent poll by Global InfoAnalytics has projected former President John Dramani Mahama, the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is on track for a decisive one-touch victory in the upcoming December polls.

According to the research firm, the national telephone tracking poll, which surveyed voter preferences across the country, revealed that Mahama was likely to win with 53% while the Vice President and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, would poll 39%.

Nana Kwame Bediako, otherwise known as Chaddar, and Alan Kyeremanten, according to the polls, will emerge third and fourth with 5.2% and 1.7% respectively.

“The poll shows John Dramani Mahama leading the vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, 53.1% to 39.0%. Nana Kwame Bediako is in third place with 5.2% and Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten is in fourth place with 1.7% and other candidates, 1%.

“Among first-time voters, JDM is consolidating his lead as the poll shows he leads DMB 54.7% to 31.3%. Nana Kwame Bediako, 12.5% and others 1.5%. However, among non-first-time voters, the race is much tighter as John Mahama leads with 53.1%, Dr Bawumia, with 39.4%, Nana Bediako, with 4.7%, Alan
Kyeremanten, 1.7% and others 1.1%,” it stated.
