The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ledzokuku, Mordecai Quashie, has expressed strong confidence in the electoral prospects of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, asserting that he has the solution to Ghana’s current economic challenges.
Speaking on the Point Blank segment of Eyewitness News on October 9, the MCE highlighted Dr Bawumia’s ability to navigate the country through tough global economic conditions.
Despite these challenges, the Ledzokuku MCE praised the government’s achievements, citing the resilience of the economy during the global crises.
He believes Dr. Bawumia is the candidate best equipped to lead Ghana out of its current economic difficulties.
“Dr Bawumia would win the elections and the reason why he will win is that he has the solution to Ghana’s economic situation. Honestly, you cannot do any intellectual appraisal without taking into consideration COVID-19 and the Russian-Ukraine War. These are two huge events and no government in recent history has had to operate under that kind of environment that we have operated under.”
“Even in spite of all of that, we have achieved a lot. What makes me confident that Dr Bawumia will win is that he has a solution and a clear-cut plan,” he stated.
