Dr Frank Owusu-Sekyere is now at the helm of Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) as its acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective October 6, 2024.
He was appointed by the hospital’s Board of Directors, taking over from Dr Opoku Ware Prempeh, whose four-year term ended on October 5.
The hospital’s management in a statement dated Tuesday, October 8, said that with his extensive background as the Director of Medical Affairs at Korle-Bu, Dr Owusu-Sekyere brings valuable experience to his new role.
The hospital’s management expressed confidence in his ability to lead the hospital effectively, citing his impressive track record.
Dr Owusu-Sekyere’s expertise will undoubtedly steer KBTH towards continued success.
“His extensive experience and deep commitment to healthcare position him well to lead the hospital during this transitional period,” it added.
