The government is set to support poultry farmers across the country with feed and vaccines on October 10, 2024, through the various poultry farmer associations nationwide.
Again, the government will establish an online grains market starting on October 10, to enable the public access grains at affordable prices.
The Minister of Food and Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong made this known at a press conference in Accra on Tuesday.
“On the 10th of October, 2024, working through the various poultry farmer associations nationwide, poultry farmers will be supported with feed and vaccines.”
“…To bring relief to the general population, we are setting up an online grains market starting on the 10th of October to enable the public to conveniently access grains (maize and rice) at affordable prices,” he stated.
