The Ghana Highways Authority (GHA) has announced that traffic flow will be interrupted on the Apedwa-Ejisu road to make way for maintenance works.
GHA in a statement notifying the general public of the interruption, indicated sections of the 169.55km will experience lane closures during the period.
Though GHA did not give a definitive time period for the completion of the maintenance works, it urged the public to be patient and cooperative as the contractor works to put the stretch back on shape.

REHABILITATION OF APEDWA-EJISU ROAD (169.55KM)
The Ghana Highway Authority (GHA), acting on behalf of the Ministry of Roads and Highways (MRH) wishes to inform the general public and motorists about a major maintenance activity on the Apedwa-Ejisu section of the N6.
The maintenance activities are essential to improve the riding quality of the Road and also extend its service life.
During this period, some sections of the Road will experience lane closure. This will lead to reduced speeds and possible delays. The contractors shall put adequate traffic management measures on the Road. Motorists are advised to observe all the traffic management protocols for safe passage.
