The Ghana Police Service has warned the Democracy Hub demonstrators following reports of disruptive actions that have affected commuters and road users in various parts of the capital.
According to the police, the demonstrators’ actions are causing unnecessary frustration and hindrance to the general public, which the authorities have described as “uncivil, unpatriotic, and un-Ghanaian.”
“We are urging the demonstrators to desist from such uncivil, unpatriotic and un-Ghanaian acts depicted in the images and videos and allow the general public to go about their businesses without any hindrance.
“We would like to assure the public that more Police officers have been deployed across the city to manage the traffic and ensure security, law and order, “the police noted.
