The final farewell and burial service for gospel music legend, Kofi Owusu Dua-Anto, affectionately known as KODA, was marked by a touching burial service attended by friends, family, and notable figures in the gospel music industry.
The service held in Accra at the Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) on Friday, September 20, was filled emotional tributes and memories of the late producer, singer, and instrumentalist, who left an indelible mark on Ghanaian gospel music.
The burial service drew a host of gospel musicians, including Elder Kwesi Mireku, Diana Hamilton, Kofi Kinaata, Joe Mettle, Nii Okai, Eugene Zuta, and others, who came to pay their last respects.
Notable politicians who attended the funeral included the former Minister of Finance, Kwabena Duffuor and member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West, Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui.
Many shared heartfelt memories of KODA’s contributions to their careers and the broader gospel music scene.
