An Accra High Court has placed an injunction against the planned three-day demonstration by the pressure group Democracy Hub.
The court’s decision, made on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, comes in response to concerns raised by the police regarding the chosen venue for the protest, specifically the area in front of Jubilee House.
As a result of the court order, Democracy Hub is prohibited from proceeding with their planned demonstration, which was scheduled to take place from September 21 to 23, 2024.
