Consolidated Bank Ghana LTD (CBG) has denied recent claims that the bank has been sold.
CBG in a statement issued on Wednesday clarified that there has been no change in the bank’s ownership.
It stressed that the Government of Ghana remained the sole shareholder and therefore described the reports of its sale as “entirely false and misleading.”
CBG reassured customers that there is no cause for concern regarding their deposits or the bank’s operational integrity.
CBG emphasised its ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and innovative products.
It assured customers that their funds were secure and urged the public to rely on the bank’s official communication channels for any information.
