As the sun rose over the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) forecourt, the 2024 ‘This Is Ghana’ Exhibition burst into life, radiating vibrant colours and dynamic energy.

Vendors from across the country converged to showcase their distinctive products, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

The exhibition transformed into a thriving hub, proudly displaying a diverse array of locally crafted products and services.

Every aspect of the event pulsed with creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, spanning fashion, agriculture, technology, and crafts.

On the second day, the energy remained palpable. Vendors forged connections, formed partnerships, and made sales, driving the exhibition’s success. ‘This Is Ghana’ was more than just a showcase – it was a vibrant celebration of Ghanaian innovation and entrepreneurship.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, vendors packed up their wares, exhausted yet exhilarated by the two-day event. The exhibition had been a resounding triumph, showcasing the best of Ghanaian talent and creativity.

Solomon Abiam, Marketing Manager of Massim Foods, beamed with pride as he and his colleagues showcased their packaged rice. “Sales have been good,” he said.

“Although it was slow in the morning, we made a lot of sales in the afternoon and evening. Kudos to Channel One TV for organising this event. As you can see, people are flocking in, and we need more of this. We’ve participated in previous exhibitions and wish to continue partnering with you to promote our products globally. The experience has been fantastic, and we’ve gained significant exposure.”

Bennetta Mantebea Mante Avevor, Sales Representative with Kuura Beauty Incorporated, also shared her positive experience.

“It’s been great, and we’ve made many valuable contacts. Our natural, Ghana-made products have resonated well with attendees. We offer a range of products tailored to African hair needs, including conditioner, shampoo, and hair breakage solutions.”

Christian Baah, a Representative with WIPE SOAP, also reported a successful experience.

“Sales have been good, and Ghanaians are embracing made-in-Ghana products. We offer a variety of products, including toilet cleaner, toilet disinfectant, glass cleaner, and dishwashing soap.”

Helina Zobil of Fragroma shared her experience at the exhibition, “This is our second time participating, and it’s been incredibly successful. Since we arrived on Saturday, we’ve made a lot of sales. I can confidently say that this is the best fair we’ve attended so far – the sales and overall experience have been exceptional. We specialise in handmade products like batik, tie and dye, silk, lining, and crafts.”

Joshua Anyinbra of Croitel, which deals in dried pineapple, mango, and coconut, also expressed his satisfaction. “Sales have been good, and we’re happy to have participated. The experience has been great, and we’re definitely coming back next year.”

The owner of Rouje Naturel, Abdul-Hamid shared her excitement and happiness about the impressive sales turnout.

“I see hair booster, scented shea butter, African black soap. The experience has been awesome since Saturday. I made good sales on Saturday and Sunday. It’s been awesome, l networked, and met lots of people, wholesalers, delivery guys and potential customers so I’m hoping they will reach out for us to do business and grow the brand. Thanks to Channel One TV for this opportunity.”

According to Patricia Gweliwo-Asuming, owner of Native Allure, the fair profoundly impacted her confidence. “The experience has been fantastic, this is my first time at the exhibition, and it has opened my brand up, l met people who have boosted my brand confidence.”
