One of Ghana’s gospel musicians, Esther Smith has revealed that she was moved to tears by the overwhelming turnout at her recent live concert in Kumasi dubbed ‘Esther Smith in Live Concert’.

Speaking on Channel One TV’s Breakfast Daily, Esther Smith recounted the emotional experience.

“I cried when I saw so many people of God over there, the car park was full—I cried. I wasn’t by myself. I even asked Mr. Sammy Anim which song I should sing first, and I didn’t know,” she shared.

Reflecting on the success of the Kumasi event, she expressed her hope that the upcoming concert in Accra would be even more impactful.

“I hope Accra will be bigger and better than Kumasi,” she said, urging everyone to attend. “Come and see what God can do for His children in this end time through praises and worship.”

Accra’s version of the concert is to take place at the Perez Dome, Dzorwulu on Friday, August 30, 2024.

“I always say that when it comes to worship, the Bible say the wall of Jericho was not broken by prayers. Prayer is good but when it comes to worship, I will say it is deeper than prayers. So, when you worship God and you do that well, something good happens. Tomorrow, I urge everybody to come over there and see what God can do through praises and worship to these people. So, when we are ministering, we are ministering Christ, the anointed one to his people. So, I urge everybody to come over. When you are coming there, don’t come because of Esther Smith but come and meet your chain breaker, ” she stated.

The concert will also feature performances by other renowned gospel artists, including Pastor Joe Beecham, Noble Nketiah, OJ, Beck Bonney, and Morris Babyface, among others.

Tickets for the event are available at rates of GH¢50 for single entry, GH¢100 for double, and GH¢150 for VIP access.
