Tea lovers in Ghana who prioritise both taste and health will have the opportunity to experience one of the country’s finest indigenous teas at the upcoming ‘This is Ghana Exhibition.’
Maseda Hub Limited, a local producer of herbal teas, will be featuring their premium Hibiscus-based tea, infused with a unique blend of herbal spices, at the event.
Majorie Odeibea Odei, Head of Public Relations, Maseda Hub Limited, in an interview on Channel One TV noted that patrons who will come to their stand at the exhibition will get to see their other tea brands infused with herbal spices such as tetrapleura tetraptera, locally known as prekese, cinnamon, orange zest, lemon grass, and mint among others.
“This is Ghana Exhibition is going to be a great platform to showcase what we also have as Ghanaians because our tea can match up to any tea worldwide. I can dare say that. So, we decided that this is our first time, and we are going to come on board and impact Ghanaians and showcase the health benefits of drinking hibiscus tea. This is because if you look at the research hibiscus is very high in nutrients such as antioxidants, and can battle cancer, and flu. It helps in weight loss management and that is why we are here. We want to impact,” she stated.
‘This is Ghana Exhibition’ is a two-day event happening from August 31-September 1, 2024, and will feature over 300 exhibitors showcasing made-in-Ghana products and services at the forecourt of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly head office in Accra.
