Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has asserted that the current administration has surpassed the achievements of the previous government led by former President John Dramani Mahama in all sectors.
He highlighted the significant progress made under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Engaging the media in Accra on Sunday, Dr Bawumia cited improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and the economy.
He pointed to the successful implementation of key initiatives and also emphasised the administration’s efforts in stabilising the economy, reducing inflation, and increasing foreign direct investment.
He noted that these achievements have contributed to a more robust and resilient economic environment, benefiting all Ghanaians.
“The data is very very clear that our government, we have outperformed the government of former president Mahama in the management of the economy in virtually every sector.”
“You tell whether it is GDP growth, whether it is per capita income, whether it is industry growth. I mean eventually every sector we have outperformed them”
“So, he either does not read or does not understand the data. He needs to do one of the two, take his time to read the data before he comes out to speak because he will speak out of ignorance…I believe that is why he does not want to debate me,” he stated.
