NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has declared that voting for the NPP is equivalent to choosing a “brand new, tear-rubber president” with fresh ideas to solve Ghana’s challenges.
In contrast, he argued that a vote for the NDC’s John Mahama is a vote for a “second-hand failed president.” Dr. Bawumia made these remarks during his tour of the Ofoase/Ayeribi constituency.
Speaking at a community engagement, Dr. Bawumia emphasized that a vote for him would guarantee the promotion of accountability in governance.
“I have not been a president before so when you vote for me, you will get a brand new, tear-rubber president.
“But if you vote for Mahama you will get a second-hand failed president. Do you want a brand new one or a second hand? if you want brand new then you vote for Bawumia and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.”
