Dr. Gideon Boako, the spokesperson for NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has defended the ruling party’s record, acknowledging that while the NPP has not made “honey and milk flow into the mouths of Ghanaians,” it remains the best option for the nation.

Speaking on Eyewitness News, Dr. Boako emphasized that the NPP’s achievements surpass those of any government since 1992.

He argued that if the upcoming election is about choosing a government capable of bringing economic improvement and development, the NPP stands out as the superior choice.

“We can’t say we’ve made honey and milk flow into the mouths of Ghanaians but we can beat our hand on our chest that the alternative has nothing compared to the NPP. Because our record is far above and superior to the record of any government that we have seen since 1992.

“So, if this election is about making a choice to ensure that we have economic emancipation, we have improvement to your life and you see development, we know that we have brought development to Ghana.

“There is still more to be done that is why we think that it is better to continue the government that has created the largest number of jobs for the Ghanaian people than to go back and bring a government that could not create jobs, a president who could not create jobs and when the Ghanian youth complained, he told them that he is not a magician to create jobs,” he stated.
