The launch of the New Patriotic Party’s Manifesto for the 2024 general election is underway in Takoradi in the Western Region.
The NPP has constituted an 11-member committee to oversee the planning and execution of the manifesto launch.
Party supporters have gathered at the Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) in Takoradi for the launch.
The Chairman of the Manifesto Committee for the Bawumia Campaign Team, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, described the manifesto by NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as a bold and comprehensive response to the concerns raised by Ghanaians.
Speaking ahead of the manifesto launch, Mensah Bonsu emphasised that the document reflects a blend of Bawumia’s vision and the feedback gathered from citizens during his engagements across the country.
“We were with him wherever he went, wherever he engaged the people and took out issues that came up. He has used it to fertilise his vision. Because that man admits that notwithstanding what he has achieved in life, he is not the repository of knowledge, wisdom and experience.
“So, we have a mixed grill of his own focus and we have fertilised that idea with what we had from the people that we engaged to come out with this comprehensive vision.
