The Literacy Challenge, organized by Citi FM and Channel One TV, launched on May 16, 2024, with the goal of recognizing and rewarding Ghana’s brightest young minds.
After an exhilarating competition, Frederick Lokko of Covenant Presby Preparatory School emerged as the 2024 champion. He was awarded a grand prize of GH¢10,000, a trophy, and several other exciting rewards.

Since its inception in 2017, the Literacy Challenge has been a beacon of educational excellence in Ghana, encouraging and promoting literacy among the nation’s youth.
The 2024 edition of the Literacy Challenge was made possible through the efforts of Citi FM and Channel One TV, with generous sponsorship from Ghana National Gas Company, Alife Soap, Fortune Spread for Bread by Wilmar Africa Limited, Webie Biscuits by M4 Foods, and Prospectus Ghana Limited.
