Kwame Governs Agbodza, the Minority Chief Whip, has fired back at Dr. Bryan Acheampong, the Member of Parliament for Abetifi, following Acheampong’s statement that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is fully prepared to retain power in the upcoming elections by any means necessary.

According to him, Bryan Acheampong should not try to rig the upcoming elections.

The Abetifi MP on August 11, stated that the NPP is fully prepared and will do all it can to retain power.

He added that the NDC has no chance of winning in December.

However, speaking at a party gathering, Kwame Agbodza accused President Akufo-Addo, who is also the commander-in-chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, of losing control over the security of the country.

This, according to him, has allowed Bryan Acheampong to make politically incorrect statements.

He, thus, warned the NPP against any attempts to undermine the democratic process.

“The current commander-in-chief appears to lose control to the extent that miscreants in his government are threatening the peace and security of this country. I am talking about my colleague in parliament Bryan Acheampong threatening that the sea will burn because they are going to try to rig the elections.

“I have a simple message for you my colleague just as you have been defeated in the hostile overtake of the hotels belonging to SSNIT you will surely fail if you attempt to use force to do anything.

“This is Adaklu, you dare not try anything on the life of any Ghanaian, you cannot threaten Ghanaians, your party will lose and you be the first to run away, he stated.
