The management of Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) has announced technical difficulties with its Lightwave Health Information Management System (LHIMS), leading to a slowdown in service delivery.
The hospital, which operates largely paperless, has had to switch to a manual system, resulting in longer queues and extended waiting periods for patients.
In a press statement, TTH management assured the public that a dedicated team is working hard to resolve the issue and restore normal operations as quickly as possible.
They have since apologized for any inconvenience caused and promised to keep the public updated on the progress.
