A Deputy Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Alfred Tuah Yeboah, has assured the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament that significant progress has been made towards prosecuting referrals made to his office.
The committee had referred several institutions to the Attorney General for prosecution due to various infractions, including procurement breaches.
The institutions in question include the Ghana Law School, Registrar General’s Department, National Blood Service, Ghana Red Cross Society, and Ghana Maritime Authority among others.
During his appearance before the Public Accounts Committee, Alfred Tuah Yeboah outlined the processes being taken to prosecute these cases to address the infractions.
