The Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has stated that he will consider patriotism when appointing individuals to serve under the next NDC Government if the party wins the upcoming elections.
He said persons who will want to serve in the next administration must be individuals who put the love of Ghana first aside from their qualifications that will make them suitable for the job.
Mr Mahama speaking at the 10th Public Lecture at the KNUST in Kumasi to Commemorate the anniversary of the death of the late Ing. Dr Paul Victor Obeng, described him as someone who served Ghana with a sense of patriotism.
The Former President said the life of P.V Obeng is worth emulating and individuals willing to serve under his next administration should possess such patriotic qualities.
“I look forward to appointing many such people like P.V Obeng who loved Ghana besides whatever professional or other qualifications they may possess in my next government from January 7, 2025,” he stated.
