Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has left the country as part of a delegation led by Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin.
The delegation will participate in a programme organized by the National Council of State Legislators in the United States of America.
The information was disclosed in a statement released by the NDC party.
According to the statement, Nketiah is expected to be away until August 12, 2024.
“In his absence, the National Vice Chairman, Comrade Ababga Yakubu Alhassan, will act as the chairman,” the statement noted.
