The Service Ghana Auto Group Limited (SGAGL) has warned that those spreading false allegations about the company will be held accountable for any harm to its business and reputation.
This comes after accusations that SGAGL was not eligible for its government contract for the maintenance of 307 ambulances.
North Tongu’s MP, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, suggested that the company was selected without a competitive procurement process.
SGAGL, in a statement seen by Channel One News on Thursday, August 1, expressed serious concern over the “false claims and lies” about its government contract for ambulance service and maintenance.
“Notice is hereby served on those peddling the false allegations including by the media without attempts to verify same, that they, particularly the unprofessional and uncritical media, shall be held liable for reckless damage to genuine business and reputations,” the statement read.
SGAGL affirmed that all parties involved in the transaction have always acted with integrity and followed the law, including during the procurement processes.
