According to them, the traffic lights have not been functioning for close to three years now.

The demonstration, they added, was prompted by a tragic incident that occurred on Wednesday, July 31, where two pedestrians were struck by speeding vehicles at the intersection.

The residents argue that the malfunctioning traffic lights have created a hazardous environment for both drivers and pedestrians, exacerbating the risk of accidents.
