Founder and Presidential Candidate for the Movement for Change, Alan Kyerematen, has pledged to establish a Traders Bank if elected president of the country in the 2024 general election.
Alan Kyerematen made this promise while interacting with market women at the Nana Bosoma Market in Sunyani during his campaign tour of the Bono Region.
He emphasized that creating this bank would simplify financing access for traders nationwide.
“If we want to develop trade, we need financial resources. I understand that your challenge is finding the money to expand your business. If I am elected as President, I will establish Ghana’s first Traders Bank.
“This will be your bank, supported by the government, ensuring you have the financial backing you need without the usual struggles.”
