Frank Adu Jnr, the former Managing Director (MD) of Cal Bank, has called for a review of Ghana’s 1992 constitution to instill hope in Ghanaians.

He emphasised the importance of ensuring that citizens are not left feeling despondent.

At the Conversation Under The Baobab Tree: Odade3 National Dialogue, themed “So Much Things To Say,” held in Accra on Wednesday, Mr Adu highlighted the need to inspire hope and aspirations in citizens.

He suggested that this could be achieved through a constitutional amendment.

“We should not make the public heartless and hapless. We should indeed give them hope and aspirations.

“In my view, one of the ways we can do this is through an amendment to the constitution as it pertains to the processes of electing the president and the term limits of the presidency,” he stated.
