Parliament has been adjourned sine dine, effective Tuesday, July 30.
During its third meeting of the fourth session, the House approved several key bills, including the Affirmative Action, Gender Equity Bill 2024, the Ghana Shippers Authority Bill 2024, and the National Service Authority Bill 2024.
The session also saw Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, Minister for Finance, present the 2024 Mid-Year Budget Review.
However, Speaker Alban Bagbin adjourned Parliament indefinitely on Tuesday after the minority caucus successfully opposed the approval of the substantial loan for the Ghana Energy Sector Recovery Programme in a voice vote
