Ghana’s Harry Stacey did not advance to the semi-finals of the Men’s 100-metre freestyle event after finishing 7th in Heat 4 with a time of 51.12 seconds.
At the 50-metre mark, Stacey had the fourth-best split with a time of 24.11 seconds and overall finished 52nd out of 79 swimmers who competed in Heats 1 to 10.
Reacting to Stacey’s performance, his Manager and Founder of the Marlins Swim Team, Ralph Quaye expressed immense pride in seeing the Ghanaian swimmer compete at the 2024 Olympic Games, calling it a proud moment for Ghana’s swimming fraternity.
