Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign Team, has highlighted the impressive achievements of the Akufo-Addo government, drawing a stark contrast with the performance of the previous Mahama administration.

He boasted that the current government has outperformed its predecessor, showcasing significant accomplishments and milestones that demonstrate its effectiveness and commitment to the nation’s progress.

In an interview on Face to Face on Channel One TV, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, asserted that the Akufo-Addo government has demonstrated superior performance in macroeconomic indicators compared to the Mahama administration.

He pointed to significant improvements in key sectors, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure development, as evidence of the current government’s success and commitment to driving progress in Ghana.

“NPP is measured against us, not NDC, we promised 20 things, we have done 15 things, and the people have said we could have done the 20 things. Between us [NPP] and the NDC, if you put the macro-economic indicators on a paper to measure, you can only hold us up on the macro-economic indicators.

“Sector by sector, we beat the NDC everywhere. So many things come into the pot to form the macroeconomy. Education is critical, you can’t just come and create an artificial economy and just leave the base of your skilled citizens there, in 20 years, it will collapse everything.

He emphasised, “We have done better in education than the NDC, we have done better in health than the NDC. Under education, we’re looking at three things-infrastructure, access, and quality, we’ve done better than NDC.”

He refuted claims that the government’s flagship Free Senior High School policy, launched seven years ago, is plagued by insurmountable challenges, insisting that the programme has been a resounding success and a testament to the administration’s commitment to accessible education.

“That’s false, when we started Free SHS, what happened was that the over hundred thousand children who hitherto, were not getting access to Senior High Schools because we didn’t have infrastructure, have now come on stream.

“So, the NDC’s solution [progressive free education] to managing the little infrastructure we had was to cut off a hundred thousand people. Ours is the more sensible approach, because as we speak, we have had close to over 1.3 million Ghanaian children go through it without hitch,” he told host Umaru Sanda Amadu.
