Dr. Rashid Pelpuo, the Wa Central Member of Parliament, has declared a GH¢100,000 bounty for any individual or group that offers information that results in the arrest of the individuals accountable for the recent murders in Wa.
Approximately twelve people—mostly private security guards—have been killed in Washington state thus far by unidentified gunmen.
Dr. Pelpuo announced the incentive during a media meeting in Wa. He said that these incidents have greatly affected commercial activities in the Wa municipality by instilling a great deal of dread and worry.
The MP for Wa Central also voiced alarm about the police’s protracted silence regarding the investigation’s findings, pointing out that it was negatively affecting Wa residents.
